I think it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever seen.

Interesting tidbits from the world wide web.
Under Where?
This commercial cracked me up. Legends Also, Here is the commentary
CVHS
As I’m sure some of you have heard, or read, Matt gave a site to Mom called greatschools.net or something like that and asked her to check out Camp Verde. I was curious to see what people had to say as well, and I’d have to say that this comment was my favorite one out of them all:
Run away fast, very, very fast. Administration is incompetent, guidance non-existent and instuction vague and imcomplete. Teachers don’t respond to telephone/e-mail requests. My child entered as an A student and left failing/behind grade level. There is no support system for kids with ADD or 504 plans. Just look at the web site! There are errors in spelling & grammar everywhere, assuming you can find links that work. Administration lied to me about state mandated accomodations concerning my child. Drug use is rampant in the school and with the kids in the area. Sports program is more important than anything else. No SAT prep offered (guidance didn’t even know when/where the test was being administered. CVHS is a den of iniquity staffed by incompetents hoping for parents too busy to notice that it borders on the criminal. Run away! Run away very, very fast.
Needless to say, this person gave the school one star out of a possible five. I’m still laughing about the “den of iniquity” line….
Obama Inauguration at Legolan
One of our reporters did this story for our morning news and it got picked up by CNN and is now airing all over the world. The exhibit will stay up through Memorial Day, so I’ll have to go check it out.

I’m practically world famous!
Okay, so not really, but I asked Greg Wrubell a question on his blog about the basketball schedule, and he was going to talk about it anyway, so he wrote a post about it and thanked me for the question at the end. It’s not really a big deal, but it can be if I make it into one!
I want to see this!
So Ashlee and I were just chilling on the bed, watching trailers through iTunes hooked up to my awesome JBL speakers (Becky said it sounded like a movie theater over here). Anyway, we finished up watching the the trailers in the Family section. Ashlee took off, so I switched over to the Science Fiction section and I find the Star Trek trailer. Now this isn’t Start Trek XIV or anything, it’s just plain old STAR TREK. Woot! The trailer looks suuuh-weeet!
If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out at the iTunes store, apple.com, or at the movie’s website. It looks cool! And isn’t that Sylar(?) from Heroes who’s playing Spock? I haven’t been excited for something Star Trek in a long time. May eighth though, I want to go!
Another Random Sports Headline
Heres another one of those little interesting stories that is tied to sports. This one has to do with our president-elect’s “Dream Team” Cabinet. Maybe he’s getting a team together in case USA B-ball falters again….
Ben Cahoon FTW
So I’m sure a lot of you remember a great BYU receiver by the name of Ben Cahoon. This guy has been tearing it up in the CFL, establishing himself as one of the greatest to ever play in that league. Well, at one point last season he had the opportunity to attempt the game winning field goal. He’s normally the holder for the kicker but the kicker got thrown out. Here’s the proof and the attempt.
Cooties
For all of you parents, and you soon to be parents too, out there here is a video to let you know about one of the most common ailments affecting children everywhere. Be sure to be educated and then educate!
