Matthew Freeman has risen through the ranks to become one of the premier kids in Camp Verde. Ain't that sweet. Isn't that great!?!

Yes, ROUGHLY …
Thanks for getting a good start on this! I don’t think I understand the hands with the — what are they?
Mom, the hands are holding trumpets, it’s just a part of the original sunstone design. I’ve been trying to think if there is anything I could replace them with that would be cool though
I love the design! I think the hands with the trumpets ought to stay just so there’s a little more that clues people in to the fact that this is derived from the sunstone. I was wondering if we could find an old-timey font that would look cool for the writing (like something from an 1800s newspaper kind of deal, or one that looks like it?). . .
Also, just wondering if for the final design you are planning on doing it on the computer or by hand?
Stylistically speaking, the Nauvoo sunstone has a very long kind of face; maybe we can elongate the features of the sun kachina vertically a little so it is more reminiscent of the original? Maybe make the feathers a little skinnier and longer, too?
I like it, Matt! Maybe put”Nauvoo, IL” before the 2015 would be my only suggestion.
