And soon Melissa will to. I hope I’m not spilling the beans to anyone that our sis hasn’t spoken to yet. If I am, oh well, maybe you should give her a call and speak to her more than once a year. Anyway, I’ve given her a couple days leeway so it should be all good. So, if you’ve not heard, Melissa’s trip to San Diego went extremely well, so well in fact that she will become a full-fledged SoCal-er in a few short days. And guess what! Lucky for us boys in the family, the company is moving her for us! I don’t know what’s more exciting, the prospect of Melissa moving to San Diego for a new job, or the fact we won’t have to help relocate her library. It’s been a couple years for me but believe me, you’ll never forget an experience like that. Congrats sis! Good luck and expect visitors!

Thanks Jere! To update, I’ve decided Thursday 9/6 will be my last day at FOX13. I plan to leave Friday afternoon, spend the night in Vegas, then mosy on down to SD on Saturday morning. Now I just have to find movers and a place to live. Any recommendations anyone? I’m sorry I’ll miss the birth of Elsie, but I might get to be the first to see Ella. Yes Chris and Leah, you have been challenged. I’m going to post the Christmas list as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks all for all your prayers and good wishes on my behalf as I agonized over the waiting for this job.
Melissa
Congrats Liss!
We’ll miss you here in UT.
On an unrelated note (sorry to hijack the post), have the Jere & Beckys been much affected by the tornadoes/flooding, etc.?
Congrats, Liss! The boys have been faithful about praying for Auntie in her job hunt since you called before the big interview. As a matter of fact, they are so excited bout the hire they are still giving thanks everyday that Auntie Liss will be so close!
We do hope to see you sometime soon. . .especially after Ella’s arrival! We’re so happy for you. . .best of luck!
