So even if you’re not a Star Trek fan, you should check out the new movie. Bones was always my favorite character and this movies just re-inforces it. I think they did a good job casting the original crew (who knew the kid playing Kirk was the son of the guy who played the sargeant in CHIPS?). Throw in a few familiar quotes, a precocious little boy, ILM special effects and two Spocks and who needs more? I’m glad Joe suggested we watch it on the IMAX screen. IMAX is the way to see this movie, but you definitely need a big screen to watch this one. Now I just need to see Wolverine!

Yeah, good call on all of that. Except I didn’t have the IMAX experience, just a regular ole theater. Probably the best matinee I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen like three. I also likewise have yet to see Wolverine too.
Wolverine is pretty cool. Saw it last weekend. Now I know that Star Trek won’t disappoint.
When I asked a friend of mine at work how he liked Wolverine, he asked me if I read the comics. I said yeah, a little bit. Then he said that they really messed with the back story they left a MAJOR part of it out completely (his time in Japan). So, we both deduced (<-- word of the day) that I'd wait to rent it (or dollar theater). I don't care how good or bad people say Star Trek is (although I've heard only good), I'm going to see that for sure!
