Jacob’s Blessing Day

DSCN0134Hey everyone! This is just a heads up that we are probably going to be blessing Jacob on May 30th (Memorial Day weekend). We know that a lot of you are traveling to Cali for Chris’s graduation, so we don’t expect everyone to be able to come, but you are all certainly invited to come if you can and would like to.

We know it’s not a fast Sunday, but it’s a little better for my Dad being able to come out because of the holiday (one less day to take off of work). The 30th is not set in stone. . . there is some variability depending upon when my great grandma passes, which could be any day or in a number of weeks, or in a couple months. . . But if my mom has to go out for that, we may change the day so my Dad can come.

We will let you know if things change. But for now, it’s the 30th. Let us know if you can come. If you want, you can stay at our house, as long as you don’t complain too much about the mess. : )

Love,
Andrea

Jacob’s here!

So here he his:

Jacob Emory Freeman

In case you forgot, he was born at 6:35 Friday morning at the hospital here in Cottonwood. He’s 7 lbs, 13 oz and 19 inches long. That’s a half inch shorter and a pound heavier than Elsie, so he’s more chubby than she was.

Andrea woke up around 4:30 and Grandma came over to watch Elsie so that we could go to the hospital. We got here at 5:00 and he was here an hour and a half later. He has really good timing, since I had just gotten everything for the next few days done at work, and we just finished cleaning the house.

He has to stay in the hospital at least 24 hours, so we’ll be home sometime tomorrow afternoon. We’re excited for him to finally be here, and it will be interesting to see how Elsie handles things with another baby in the family. The adventure continues…

Merry Christmas!

We just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We have been blessed tremendously this season and give thanks to our loving Heavenly Father for His tender mercies he has bestowed upon us. Thank you all for being instruments in His hands to bless us in our time of need. We love you all and hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Love,
Chris, Leah, & Jonathan
