Lots of pictures lately. Here’s my next effort in trying to catch up. This is Ashlee’s dance recital that she performed last year in June. She’s planning on picking up ballet again this fall and she’s pretty excited. When asked why ballet instead of soccer this fall, she replied, “Because I have a lot of leotards that I haven’t used in a long time!”

And even though I usually post these on Picasa Web Albums, I really love Flickr. I tend to post pictures there more often than I do on Picasa. Here is Becky’s & mine photostream. I uploaded these photos awhile ago, but I’m just now getting to posting them. August is just nasty at work every year, even for those of us that aren’t going out to cover football two-a-days. Anyway, these are all pictures from our diabetes walk that we did last September.

Wow, that almost took a full year to get posted! I know you’re all waiting for those Halloween pictures from last year. They’ll be here soon (hopefully before this year’s Halloween).

These Jungle Bruthas were captured on camera 25 May 2007. Nick and Will were climbing in Grandma’s pecan tree.

I’m trying to get caught up a little with posting pictures and stuff. So, I know these are a little bit older, but they were next ones up. Nick attended a sword seminar for karate way back last fall. Those of you who know me well enough will know that I think it’s pretty cool that the little guy is learning some weapons, especially swords. Dual wield even. Swords FTW!

SO for anyone that maybe had a shoddy phone connection, didn’t hear right, or for whatever reason forgot, I am indeed going to Portland, Oregon for my mission. The Oregon Portland Mission to be exact. So yeah, I’m pretty excited and stuff but I have to wait until September 17 to report. Not too long, not too short, but juuuuust right. So yeah, from the land where it never rains to the land where it never stops raining. Should be fun! And as a little treat to all you alls, here’s the picture I put on my application.

This was captured at the Cleveland Zoo. Yeah, I don’t know what’s going on here. Maybe I had to go to the bathroom and couldn’t walk the 15 meters behind me. Maybe I got lost and couldn’t figure out where the rest of the family was. And just maybe it’s a case of the jock itch via poison oak.

(And no… I don’t have a hump… that’s the backpack thingy geez!)

And what do you know? Just realized it’s Leap Year Day… or… whatever. How many times do you get to post on February 29th? (And Matt… we all know once every 4 years… you don’t have to tell us)
