Earlier Concerts
Ashlee had her first concert of the school year yesterday and I realized I hadn’t posted her last two. So before I get to yesterday’s, here are the two I missed.
This first one is their annual week-long summer camp trip to Interlochen Center for the Arts in Northern Michigan (up close to Traverse City). They always go a couple of weeks before school starts and it’s where they get a head start on the music they will be playing for the year. It is an outdoor venue so the sound is quieter through the three pieces they played, you’ll have to turn up the volume.
Skyline at Interlochen 2018
The second one is from their spring concert back in May. It’s the last concert of the school year for them. They usually play a piece each time where they invite any alumni to come and play. It’s the 4th piece in this playlist, Aquila, so you’ll get to see Nick playing with his old orchestra since he was home just in time for the concert.

Orchestra Night 2018
Orchestra Night is usually really long as each middle school and high school in the district gets to perform at Hill Auditorium on the University of Michigan campus. We thought we were out of the woods having to attend when Ashlee graduated from middle school as only the symphony orchestras from each high school perform. Then Ashlee decided to audition for symphony and made it. So we’ve got three more Orchestra Nights to go. Here’s this week’s performance, Skyline was the last orchestra of the night.
